I had been wanting this gas range for quite some time. I liked the color and when our fridge was needing to be replaced, I purchased a GE refrigerator in the color (Fingerprint Resistant Slate) that I wanted and then I wanted to get the matching range. I will say the Fingerprint Resistant Slate color would pair nicely with either black or stainless steel. I was a little worried about this matching my old appliances, because we still had a stainless steel dishwasher but it just looks a little darker color but not bad at all. I think all the appliances look good. I did research online and ended up finding the products I wanted at the best price. I purchased the fridge first and had received a coupon from the retailer, so then I went ahead and purchased the matching range which also had a discounted price. I have to say this is the best oven I have ever used/owned. Overall, I just love it. It takes 1/2 the time to cook our food than our previous range. We also love the air fryer function. We have used it to cook tater tots and they are the best, crunchiest tater tots we have ever had. The only con we have is we don't like the timer and it is super quiet. That may just be a lack on our part for not reading how to properly use it. But I typically use Alexa as a timer anyways. Overall, I am super happy with this purchase and highly recommend getting this oven.

I'm disappointed

I've had this for less than 3 months and it's already not working right. I wish I could say I love my oven because it is my dream oven, however it keep turning off around the 14/15 min mark and the display goes blank then flashes 12:00 and all the controls lock so the only way to rest the oven is by unplugging it. Then we start all over again. Someone should be coming to fix it tomorrow, so maybe my opinion will change once it starts working correctly.

Have only used once. Control panel went out. Repairman came out & ordered replacement part, came back next week. Then another problem Temp. sensor was bad. Repairman ordered new part, but it was bad. I love the look of my new oven. Cooking with gas has definitely had a learning curve for me. The oven heats up super fast and my recipes cook on the short time span vs electric that always cooked on the longer time. I have not used the convection feature yet but the bake feature time is spot on. I saw some complaints about the Time beep being to quiet but I don't think it is a issue at all. The stovetop does take alot more time to clean vs electric but the look and features make it well worth it. I have cooked so many new things and a lot more recipes from scratch because it's fun to cook with. I have not used the griddle yet but hope to soon. My only complaint is the bottom drawer seems cheap and flimsy even the book says if it doesn't roll smooth it is over weighted. For the price of the oven they could have made the drawer heavier. The quality of the draw is cheap compared to the 20 year old GE I replaced. The racks, grates and oven itself don't seem cheap only the drawer. I have had very good luck with GE brand and will be upgrading my dishwasher in the near future.

I love our GE range! It's got great features such as the air fryer, which is really nice because now I can get rid of my big bulky counter air fryer. I'm extremely happy with it and hope to buy the matching fridge soon!

Fantastic Range!

This GE range is made very well. The oven controls are easy to understand and use. The burner knobs are big and easy to grasp. The oven interior is very large and the racks slide smoothly and easily. The finish cleans easily and doesn't show fingerprints. The burner grills lift off to easily clean around the burners. I should have bought something like this years ago!

Great gas range and oven

The burner gas controls provides better heat range and control from our older gas range. The oven had many new features and more even heating.

Best even cooking stove ever

Our previous stove was starting to have issues with the oven. Once we got this new GE stove I was amazed at the even cooking I didn't even know I was lacking on the old stove top, what a difference! Baking cakes are now no longer a worry about coming out nothing less then perfect. The burner choices, special boiling burner, simmering burner WOW, so impressive.
